In his previous books, Dr Andrew Wexler has not addressed salt. He says the medical evidence was so clearly overwhelming that salt was bad for you. But he became increasingly concerned that we'd really hype salt as a problem. The amount of benefit the population would get from a salt reduction is pretty minor and hasn't really been proved.
