The last hard work at it did prior to Tokyo was 10 by 2k with 1k floats that are like maybe 15 or 20 seconds slower than the 2k's which are at marathon pace. The volume of work for the marathon workouts starts about just after two weeks so yeah sorry just under two weeks towards the marathon those start to use up a bit. I feel pretty comfortable going in and out of these big workouts while maintaining big running days, he says.
