The Future of Autonomous Vehicles Is a Ton of Rama
Every time it's 25 years after the previous one, which you could call future Rama for but because it's all about autonomous vehicles I chose to call it a ton of Rama. It reminds me also of the 1990s when we saw smart highways, which I think we've forgotten now we're sold as a way to end congestion and even to deliver self driving cars they would be self driving thanks to the smart road rather than the smart car. And that is the same as it was for the previous three future Amas as well. Each time the credibility that this amazing future is possible is enabled by state of the art technology that really is amazing and persuades people that these improbable
