The Yorkists and the Battle of Northampton
Duke of York and the Neville's didn't stay out of England for long. In 1459, in the spring of 1460, they organized and gathered their resources. At this point, we can start to call them Lancastrians. After his allies captured Henry VI at Northampton, the Duke of York made a claim on the throne himself. He was saying that he, not poor, feckless King Henry should be the ruler.
