The Importance of HR in Training
HR can be useful in addition to typical training metrics, volume intensity or other things. Also parameters that are also internal like RPE like the rate of perceived effort. It's not that you have to pick one right you can always talk to the athlete that see how they feel and it's how you capture often many issues earlier on.
