The Green Bean Casserole of the 1950s
In the United States green bean casserole is considered a classic Thanksgiving dish in particular. It's really you take two cans of canned green beans, combine them with a can of Campbell's cream of mushroom soup and sprinkle on top critically canned French's fried onions. And then bake the whole thing together and it creates this casserole that is both like widely loved and widely reviled I would say in the US.
