Meditation Can Prevent Habituation

Is this the same mechanism for like tinnitus when people have a ringing in the ears? That's also a hallucination, right? So yep. People tend to have auditory hypersensitivity first where they, you know, like they notice the clock ticking and then it generalizes to this sort of spontaneous firing of auditory neurons and causes this ringing. But we know that in meditators that habituation process doesn't always happen,. meditation itself can prevent habituation.
