Kazu Miyagawa first used the process in 1960, would you believe it? on a film called Her Brother for Connie Chigawa. He was a chemist before he came as cinematographer and he developed this process himself with the Deatsula visit out there. I never quite understood the differences between the process you're talking about that Technicolor in Rome,. which was a black and white developer after the bleach, yes, and to bring back some of the silver. But it was really interesting back then, wasn't it? It was a lot of cinematographers who were trying different techniques.
