"I feel like we end up talking about trauma a lot in movie characters, but I also feel like people don't address the reality of trauma in the human experience enough," he says. "If you look at George, we see trauma after trauma after trauma and these are not small tea traumas." He adds that his life is still pretty good compared to historical events such as World War I or WWII.
