The Importance of a World Without Nuclear Weapons

i do think that a world without nuclear weapons would be a very much safer place. I find it hard to believe that there will be sufficient trust in verification and enforcement for countries who now rely on nuclear weapons entirely. So long as they do face a real risk of attack or of invasion or occupation, i don't see how we can get rid of them completely. But by the same token, i would say that war, major war, should not be an instrument of policy. Should not be tolerated or legitimated and prepared for. That implies a considerable change in our inner world order and our system of resolving conflicts. And they go together.
