i like to ride the whole course, even if i've to walk something, i like to just get through at once. And then that second lap is when i go back and i look, exactly like jonathan was saying, look at everything. Go slowly. Am, and then the third lap is when I start testing lines. But you probably want to include all the elements at some point or another. One thing i've found ou with tricky obstacles too, ones that make you nervous. You don't know wha's going to happen on race day. Like you said, the start could be hectic. But having a few options in your back pocket is a good idea
