The Slowness of Government Can Be an Advantage
I think sometimes the slowness of government can be an advantage because hopefully that deliberation helps forge a better outcome. Germany as a society has decided because of their history, they take a firmer stance against Nazi type stuff than America does. And if you look at content moderation boards and everything companies try to do, they're essentially trying to recreate government in a private sector. So it's a weird system. I kind of do wish that governments had clearer laws around this and better laws.
