Is There a Low Volume Approach to Hypertrophy Training?
I think that you can make gains with six sets per muscle group per week as an advanced lifter yeah will that be forever and for everyone maybe not no I actually completely agree. The big caveat there is this low volume approach clearly can work like if you look at people who successful bodybuilders like Doreen Yates, Jeff Alberts or Skip LeCorte they have had a lot of success with it. If you're going to do the low volume thing you have to execute those sets as perfectly as possible. You want to keep the tension on the muscle you're trying to work but also pick exercises that are let's say more effective for that muscle.
