The Advantages and Disadvantages of Benzodiazepines
Benzodiazepines have been around a long time. They were one of the safer medications when the barbit rates were around in terms of hypnotic medications that were available to us. Trisolam is very quick acting and Temase pam is longer acting. Most patients, once a dose gets them better, it keeps them better. There are some studies now which have shown some association between benzodiazepines and adverse effects.
