Amazon had a big hand in writing the book on personalization from even 10 to 15 years ago. Amazon is a very search-based user experience, right? And so anything that's traditionally search-based has a harder time pivoting to becoming more discovery-based. An example I oftentimes give is if I walk into a target or a Costco, I walk out with a lot more things than I plan to buy.
