Happiness has at least two meanings, and one meaning is close to dated. There are people who live lives of happiness where they really have a lot of fun but think they're just living a crack life,. And other people, and i've met more of these actually, who think they're living a really terrific life. But we also want to maximy satisfaction, and we take it as very important. So you call them two types of happiness, or you call one of them pleasure and another ones satisfaction. I would claim that we want to maximize both. Give me the choice. Nobody is indifferent to pleasure. Nobody should. That seems madness.
