The Land Needs to Rest
When we use rest or self care to maintain capitalism, we're also completely forgetting the ecological component of rest and thet when. And so yes, if we say we care about the earth, climate change, the anthropocene extinction, we have to understand that if we are not slowing down, the earth will never be able to slow down. Because the earth is the basis to how we grind e exactly. The land needs torest. It needs to be honor. Like the concept of land and liberation is closely connected to this work. So a lot of the work started with me resting outdoors, sleeping outside, and doing public site installations outside and reclaiming the land.
