Conjugated linoleic acid is a different looking molecule at the fatty acid level. It's similar in some ways, and perhaps in terms of the number of carbons because it's also called linoleic Acid. But they look totally differently. The amount you get in beef or dairy, great. Don't try super-dosing CLA. That's probably not going to turn out well. Doing things that are evolutionarily inconsistent is probably not a good idea for humans.
