The Importance of Eating Plants

Lectins are proteins that bind to carbohydrates or these little sugar malady. If you eat a lectin, it can somehow be absorbed into your body and start having effects we may not normally predict would happen. Some lectins will just do damage just by virtue of binding; other lectins will do damage by way of interacting with the immune system. There's very clear evidence that when you put a lectin on an insulin receptor they actually stimulate fat storage.
