The History of the Automobile Industry in India

Viswisharaya was sent to the U.S. as part of a Russian effort to establish an automobile industry in Russia. He visited Detroit, New York and Turin where Fiat car factories were being built. Viswishraya spent about a month investigating how best a factory could be started in India. For a long time, the government of India would not allow the industry to be started. But when they did, there was no unity or cooperation among the bomb-babesons.
