Why Japan's Population Is Declining

Population growth projections have changed dramatically since the times of Thomas Malthus and John Calhoun. Reliable birth control actually hadn't has not been around very long. The Japanese population is projected to shrink well into the middle of this century, dropping to an estimated 88 million in 2065 - a 30% decrease in 45 years. Now that near constant rape has become more taboo, most Japanese men are just, you know, not interested in sex anymore.
