Walking doesn't increase rebound hunger the way running does. Your body adapts to cardio over time and down regulates the number of calories it burns. And your exercise should be for your heart health and cardiovascular fitness. But if you start to try and count calories for exercise, for energy expenditure for exercise, it's kind of a not a very effective method.
