How Do You Practice Mindfulness?
mindfulness is the awareness that rises through paying attention on purpose, right on, in the present moment. The first step then is to choose to practise to be present. If you're home with your child, you can decide to intentionally practise presence. And this curiosity and kindness feaceis really, really imimportant. Allow yourself to see your child as if you were an alien. Be curious about their body, their learning, their actions. Wonder what their needs are that are driving their choices.
