What a Restaurant Means
I think I love your interpretation of to my mind when I was reading your book it was sort of metaphoric so what you write about and what the restaurant meant which was a place where immigrants often through their daily lives were making themselves invisible. In a place like the nayad eat they could claim space you right and they could unfold to their true dimensions and they could belong. That's such a beautiful expression of what a restaurant can mean in this case obviously means two boxers are going to fight each other but for everyone else it means oh a place where they could go speak Spanish and be with friends or meet friends.
