Sony's Kudos Project: A New Network Storage Solution Based on PCI Express NTB
Sony has a total of 28 data centers across 15 metvos for the PlayStation five cloud streaming rollout. The plan is to launch the feature fully in a financial year 23, which is basically, well, now until March 24. Sony's future technology group has designed a completely new network storage solution based on PCI express NTB and PS5 IO co-processors. It reads up to five gigabytes per second with less than one milliseconds latency.
