As a mom, I know how hard this can be - we all have those moments where we just feel like we're at the end of our rope. But I want you to know that it doesn't make you a bad parent. It just means you need to take care of yourself, whether that's taking a break, practicing self-care, or finding healthy ways to manage your emotions.
In this episode, I get real about my own struggles with traditional "play" activities, and how I've learned to connect with my kids in my own unique way. I also share my honest thoughts on some popular parenting experts and methods - not everything works for every family, and that's okay!
The key is being kind to yourself, setting boundaries, and making time for your own mental health. When we do that, we can show up as calmer, more regulated parents.
