We don't usually think of sloth and torpor as an emotion, but in the larger buddhists kind of understanding of all of these as being mind states. So we want to watch our minds, watch the kind of thinking patterns we have around them when this unwise attention, it feeds them. Sometimes we are fooled into this unwise or careless attention because sloths can masquerade as compassion,. particularly compass for oneself. And so it's these thoughts that sound very caring and warm and compassionate and kind, but they may be sloth andTorpor in disguise.
