Is There a Difference Between Human and God?

God is so different from humans that not everything that God does is what we do. The idea of piety being a respect for the past or respect for the things that's come before ultimately going to God, I think is kind of an interesting thing. And this is probably why also in the Middle Ages, like it would be seen as impious as going against government or going against king. That really does sort of go against a lot of modern sensibilities, which is the throw off the chains or forge your own path.
