What about references when hiring is that overrated or underrated in the way that it is done today mostly overrated. I think there's a way to do it properly or with more depth and inquiry and curiosity but you have to stop making it a rubber stamp like if you've already basically made the job offer and you do a reference like that's not a real reference yep love it.
