Dealing With Procrastination
We want to reinforce being on task that I can get reengaged in task, get some measure of emotional relief. Once I get started, it's not as bad as it was when I started. And that reinforces on task behavior. Now, none of these things are a silver bullet that's going to allow us to, oh, then I'll never have to worry about procrastination again. It is something that you might have to go back to and do on purpose. But I ran across a great quote on persistence recently that said, persistence is not one long race. It's a series of smaller races put together.
