Is There a Transition Point in US Distance Running?
I think in the US running culture at least historically perhaps this is changing and perhaps Sarah's probably one of the reasons it would be. I'd also argue that this used to be the style in America if you looked at like marathon grades like Bill Rogers or whoever who would just you know get back on horse race a bunch. But for whatever reason we kind of got into this spot of almost protecting ourselves because you know who wants to see themselves fail?
