The Future of Pediatric Follow-Up
When we get down to the child less than 29 days of age, we're a little more conservative still. Maybe that will change in the next 10 years. But if they meet the risk stratification criteria for no LP, you can admit that child with a after a discussion with parents and observe them in an admitted environment. That's a big decision tree and a different change for parents as well as the provider, and more importantly to the child.
