Tracking Focus, Not Watching

Teachers can track students' progress on amorphous ideas. Tracking focus, tracking perseverance and tracking contributions are all good ways to do it. When you make them quantitative they simplify what you're taking in. And so that is really powerful for you and that measure is also powerful for students.
