How to Conduct a Behavior Based Interview

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. The first question I ask every candidate is tell me about a time when you've persuaded someone to make a change that was extremely reluctant to do so. Tell me about the last time you missed quota. Are they willing to fall on the sword? Right. Um, then sometimes I ask just the regular question, like, are you more likely to ask for forgiveness or permission? That's one that people love to not answer.
