I grew up in a very tech-forward home. My dad built his own computer, soldering the chips in before you could get one,. And other things, we got a microwave. I was also a Mormon missionary in Peru for two years when I was 19 and 20. So then studying the potentials and pitfalls of what technology could do in terms of influencing people was a really good fit for me.
