I've looked at a typical week from the ads of that show going back 30 years or so. And in it, you can trace quite dramatic changes in the style of advertising. Where is advertising once tended to be played out in live time? We've moved to a sort of advertising which is much closer up than ever before. I think we've also seen the emergence of a kind of blank stare on television too.
