There are two types of self acceptance. There is complacent self acceptance, where you say everything i'm doing is just fine. And then there is the fruitional view, which is being effectively becoming and cultivating the ability to be ok with whatever is. I've spent most of my life hating myself. For a long time, viewed any type of self acceptance as complacencyus. You can edded it, but i'm a paser. I needm i have to think there is such a things as what and i can modify, i can modify.
