The Four Views on Divorce and Remarriage
There has been a running debate with no consensus, especially on divorce and the remarriage aspect of that. Bridgtown: There are basically four views on divorce and remarriage. The official Catholic view is you cannot remarry as a follower of Jesus if your spouse was unfaithful to you because in doing so they tore the one flesh union. Third view is you can remarry for other reasons besides just adultery that at an effect are serious enough. And last view is that all divorce is sin or at least it's the byproduct of sin.
