How Do Businesses Determine How Much They're Going to Charge?

A price is the amount that a business will charge for something and it has to be a price which people are willing to pay. So how do businesses decide how much they're actually going to charge? Businesses firstly have to make sure that they cover their costs of selling something. Costs depend on a lot of things, such as electricity bills or hiring staff. And so they usually set a price just above the cost price to make enough profit to stay in business.
