What Is the Legacy of Social Media?

People tend not to post with as much frequency the negative stuff, the negative emotions that they're feeling. On social media does a pretty good job of promoting that. I would say social media has made it obviously much worse in the last 10 years or so. But this has been with us for a while, all the way into the 19th century. You can see how our culture started to adopt this idea. It's like when you go to somebody's Instagram feed, it's like a highlight reel of their life.
