Emmet and His Parents Grew Up in a Christian Family
In high school, emmet started to more masculine. He would stroll through the halls and basketball shorts an sleeveless tanks at leisure. His parents religious beliefs that widened the distance between emmot and his parents too. I think they were always sort of like, by the book for a long time. And then when they came to us, they got into christianity and became even more by the books. It's like the quintesental queer experience, a bible camp crush.
