The Appeal of Reality TV Bullshit

The appeal of the show is you get to see fat people pull themselves up out of their own wretchedness. The women are in spandex and sports bras and the men have their shirts off. There's like quite a bit of like leering at fat bodies. Like there's part of it that feels very, very much like a freak show that is dressing itself up as redemption.
