then you get into stocking and doxing, which, you know, typically this takes place, like only on the internat, but, you know, definitely sometimes leaks inter into real life, for sure. But typically thiss, you know, people m finding out all kinds of information about you, usually people who aren't even involved in actual, like, original accusations. Like when when these sort of canslation campaigns can like really grow to like, much wider circles. You can start getting sort of, like, people who just make it their business to participating in cancellation campaigns. And, yo, do things like docks, you you don't find ot where you live, where you work, find out who your friends are, find new ways to like haras you in your everyday life. You know, find out wat like, neighborhood you live in, a post a polistotint. And also, like, never fiking leave you alone, right? Which is like the stocking aspect, right? So, you know, we've heard of people who move to like, a different city to escape cansellation campaigns that were there were targeting them. And then having people, you know, from their old city, make contacts in their new city in order to continue the cancelation campain there, right? M, so, you know, that's an incredibly, like, intense thing to do. M,

and i think that, like, again, you know, if you if you strip away the ideological framing that we are talking about that justifies this behavior and just describe the behaviour itself, right? If you describe a situation in which some one's ex partner is keeping tabs on where they live, where they work, contacting every person that they know, am, like, following, like, the minute details of their life that they're trying to keep private from this person, you know, contacting employers, like sharing private personal information to the internat a, basically communicating like, you were never going to be able to get away from me. That alwas is abuse ove stocking, right? And we would see that if we didn't wrap it up in this, am, this ideological framing a that justifies it. But, yes, so basically, this behaviour that we're describing definitely is controlling. It definitely is threatening. It's definitely degrading and humiliating into humanizing a. The only thing that it doesn't include of the list of behaviors is usually it doesn't include physical or sexual violence, but often there is even, like, in some cases, there are threats of physical violence, a, because we, we have all this stuff going on in a culture that also says things like, you know, kill your local rapist. Am, and soth. The severe level of dehumanization that happens within the nexes of people who have been accused of abuse is, like, really severe. And i have heard of examples of people who have been physically assaulted as a result of the translation campaign against them. Ah, but even in cases where that isn't happening, the controlling, the threatening, the degradation, humiliation and dehumanization are all standard parts of am translation campaigns.
