Play Different Games to Build Up Your Toolbox

i started working on open world game many years ago, and it was so much bigger than i could even hope to understand how to do. And then eventually lot of thos ideas have come backin this new game. So ge other as soonas yoanw write up the rules, or make the playd protype or whatever you can at. Expose yourself to a bunch of stuff, even stuff that's not for you. Just play it once. That game stretches the tension for eight hours. Even if you're only making five minute games, i think there's value in seeing how they made that game stretch the tension for 8 hours.
