So maybe you can talk a little bit about her story, because i am guessing that most listeners, like me, know next to nothing about her. Frista: norma shirley was a wonderfully talented chef and a ter who was born in jamaica, i believe, in 19 38. And she had a culinary career in the states in e late sixties, throughout the seventies and the early eighties,. She lived in the berkshires and massachusetts, and then in new york for a few years.
