The Pros and Cons of Time Restricted Eating Without Exercise

There's certainly evidence for reductions in fat mass and again I go back to we still haven't quite teased out whether that's because people are eating less or because of the timing so there's a bit of a catch in there. We need to be really careful as to older individuals who are at risk of losing more muscle and as we age as well as an optimal sort of distribution of protein throughout that time restricted eating. But it seems that total glucose excursions over a day are reduced because you're reducing that time window over over which you're causing those glucose excursions.
