Imposter syndrome is a psychological pattern that was first coined in 1978 by two psychologists, Pauline Clans and Suzanne Iams. What they described was this experience of being unable to internalize our accomplishments. And when we don't get a chance to internalize those accomplishments, then suddenly we feel like frauds or out of our depth.
