The Role of Active Cells in Tendon Off
Hockon Alfordson: We're proposing that the first stage of tendon off is actually activated cells. So if somebody comes in acutely painful, we're now thinking they have sufficient cell activation to be producing enough no septive substances for the brain to detect it. And a lot of our early treatments in painful tendon off are about calming down the cells rather than trying to change the structure of the tendon.
