The Sense of Pleasant or Unpleasant

We cannot take for granted whether a thing will seem pleasant or unpleasant to us in any moment, so we have to sense each one anew. Think about your favourite dessert. If you are very hungry, you might find it really pleasant to contemplate. Sometimes there seems to be no feeling tone at all - this is fine. There's no need to to sense something every time, every moment. This is a practice in just beginning to turn towards the moment of contact, and whether it's pleasant, unpleasant or neither sir.
