Omega-6 to omega-3 ratio was a one to one 100 years ago. Over time due to Western society and dieting, the ratio has blown out to up to one to 20. That means for every one unit of omega-3, we're having 20 times the amount of units of omega-6. And so why that's a bad thing is we're living in a pro-inflammatory environment.
